My work is very personal.  It represents moments of my life, my struggles and times of great difficulty.  It is emotional and vulnerable work that relates my own experiences, but I also strive to transform my specific issues into a broader story that anyone can relate to.

This particular series is about abuse and the emotional consquences of dealing with it.  Abuse is not just physical.  It is psychological, emotional and often hidden from the naked eye.  With these works, I wish to reach out to those who have been exposed to abuse and let them know they are not alone.  At the same time I hope to bring awareness and insights to those fortunate enough not to have been afflicted by this sad yet very common social disease.
